It's always sunny in the RCA Dome

Tonight is the night I've been dreading ever since the day Peyton Manning lifted the Lombardi Trophy over his head with that goddamned "aw shucks" grin on his face. It's Peyton's coronation as Jesus Christ Quarterback (and all this time you thought that was Tim Tebow), and I will be watching with the same enthusiasm as I would have for the inauguration of a president who did not receive my vote.

This will not be over quickly. I will not enjoy this.

However, it is still NFL football, and if it means having to sit through the sycophantic rumblings of John Madden and the incessant patriotic-laced Chevy Silverado commercials, then that's what I have to do. I can always rely on the fact that Al Michaels is doomed to the same fate (maybe not the commercials, but the fact that he has to sit next to that ancient slurpee machine makes up for it).

And what do I have to complain about... this should be an awesome game between the Colts and the Saints. Plus, it's as good a time as ever to introduce LOLpicks, where I will pick a handful of games against the spread, and display my horrible gambling problem to the world.

Note: I won't actually be putting money on these games, since currently my "salary/actual money in bank" ratio is looking very similar to Michael Strahan's. This is just to see how god-awful I would have done.

This will probably be the last Colts game that I will pick, considering my desire to never see Peyton Manning succeed. And with that, I'll take the six points and pick the Saints. I'm sure Drew Brees will be able to deliver some punishment to that Colts defense.

A dumbass once said, "You can't win 'em all... if you don't win the first one."
